It is time for us to use some of the things we have learned so far. Experienced writers advise novice writers to write about what they know best. Using Microsoft Word, write an MLA formatted essay; you will write about an event in your life where you learned an important lesson. The lesson may be something simple (do not run barefoot in a briar patch) or significant (words can hurt). Your story should be in first person and between 350-500 words (2 pages). Precision in language, word choice, grammar, and syntax are important.
