II. Writing a Critique Assignment (100 points, worth 15% of total grade):
Write a critique of the same article you used for the Summarizing an Article Assignment by following the directions below:

        2. Review the following critique examples.

        3. Using the same article you summarized, write a five paragraph essay (1.5-2 pages) that focuses on the effectiveness or ineffectiveness of the article and/or author using MLA formatting and style (pp. 268-70). Be careful to not just summarize the articleDo not critique the issue in the article, but the effective or ineffective techniques used by the author.
        4. Self-edit and annotate your rough draft as you did with your previous assignments. Save this version for submission later.
        5. Complete your edits, include a Works Cited page, and save your work as a polished final draft.
