1. Does a policy restricting access to guns to people who are diagnosed with mental illness prevent potential shooters before they act? Who would be considered as mentally ill in those policies? How do we know that a person considered as mentally ill actually poses a risk of committing mass shootings? Would you be in favor of those types of policies?
