In St. Augustine’s Essential of the Psalms, New City Press of the Focolare, NY; In Part II, Exposition 1 of Psalm 33 (pages 113-114), he provided an exposition of Psalm 30: verses 1-11. In this psalm, who is speaking and how do Unity and Body make the One because of Charity. However, before we get there, page 114 talks of the affection of Christ and uses the Phases “He affected and He drummed on the doors into the city” saliva trickled down his beard… meaning that Jesus is truly human..sacrificial comparison of Him being truly human with his beard and Him truly God with the bread for the Eucharist. How would you interpret and connect para 9 when on page 121, Augustine’s Text of Psalm 30:1 states, “A psalm of David, when he altered his behavior in the presence of Abimelech And forsook him, and went away….then Augustine’s Text in 1 Samual 21: 12-13, “David was afraid of him (Saul) as well, and altered his behavior in front of them all, affecting madness. He drummed on the doors into the city, and was carried in his own hands, and fell down outside on a threshold, as saliva dribbled down his beard. Please do explanation of this passage and how it applies to Charity which is Unity of One Body of Christ, the Church through the Eucharist. How then, would you tie para 9 to para 10 which is on page 120 titled, “the scandal of the Eucharist.”
Provide a full but focus exegetical and exposition of St Augustine’s exposition of Psalm 33 with emphasis on:”A psalm of David, when he altered his behavior in the presence of Abimelech And forsook him, and went away….then Augustine’s Text in 1 Samual 21: 12-13, “David was afraid of him (Saul) as well, and altered his behavior in front of them all, affecting madness. He drummed on the doors into the city, and was carried in his own hands, and fell down outside on a threshold, as saliva dribbled down his beard.”
With the text mentioned, look at its flow and inner logic. Make connections that are on the surface of the text, and also a deeper meaning. This paper is an interpretive exposition that is grounded in the text(s). Thereby, passages, themes, images, etc., that you find to be significant (positive or negative) are drawn from your close reading and interpretation. Nothing here is original, though it can be a truly insightful exposition. Because this paper is relatively short avoid a tremendous introduction.

Exegesis paper on Galatians 2:19-21, “In fact, through the Law I am dead to the Law so that I can be alive to God. I have been crucified with Christ and yet I am alive; yet it is no longer I, but Christ living in me. The life that I am now living, subject to the limitation of human nature, I am living in faith, faith in the Son of God who loved me and gave himself for me. I am not setting aside God’s grace as of no value; it is merely that if saving justice comes through the Law, Christ died needlessly.
This passage should be totally explored and maybe links to other of the epistles of Paul that points or support back to this theme.
This is an exegesis paper to relate the passage and its analytical application/interpretation and meaning.

Write an analysis of the Noah / Flood narratives by weaving the following information into the paper: a) Briefly compare and contrast the two different narratives (P and J) pointing out style and detail differences [This should be a very brief mainly to show style differences that connect to the narrator’s purpose for the flood]; b) Connect the flood narrative with the importance of the creation & “Fall” narrative (note similarities). Why is this important? c) Most important – why is the Flood narrative important in providing an understanding of God and what God will and won’t do from this time forward including the shift to human responsibility. [Note: The narrative is answering a theological question that is discussed in class about why doesn’t God just “fix” the world, so be sure to include this aspect].
Address the question in any thematic or substantive ways. This narrative is a continuation and does become a recreation narrative for both P and J. However, the question is why is this important as a part of the creation narrative (and with J that includes the ‘fall’ and the disobedience with the knowledge of good and evil). The center piece of much of the “why” question will revolve around the understanding of human’s responsibility (mentioned in the question). The goal is to explain all that, so the flood/Noah narratives are explained as the narrators intended these to be understood.
Both sources are class notes and bible I can jot them down
